Help Us Help Them!
From now until April 2012, the University of Louisville’s Honors Student Council will be collecting media for their biannual Book and Media Sale (“BAMS”). It is our goal to 30,000 books and other pieces of media to be sold at the Book and Media Sale scheduled for April 4-8, 2012 in the Red Barn. Through this sale, we hope to raise $10,000, all of which will be donated to Kosair’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville to support the “Just for Kids” Critical Care Unit!
Help us by spreading the word throughout the community and by collecting and donating books and media. We are collecting: books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, vinyl records of all shapes/sizes, video games, and all other forms of media. Posters and drop boxes are all over campus. Please try to talk to family members and organizations you are a part of and start collecting donations.
If you have any questions about donating, picking up or dropping off, you can contact the committee through the official BAMS email address: HonorsBAMS@gmail.com. Click HERE to see where Collect Boxes are located in and around the University of Louisville!

Are there going to be any boxes on the health science campus? If not, can you tell me an exact location of a box since I am never on Belknap campus? Thanks.
There should be a box located in the library on the health science campus. If you have any trouble let us know. Thanks for your question!
I was wondering if you can put out a general itemized price list for items? I understand there might be exceptions but what is your general price on books, audio books, video games, etc. It would help me decide if I want to come to the preview. Thanks
The following are the general prices for our items: Hardbacks $2; Paperbacks $1; CDs $1; DVDs $1; VHS $1, LPs $1; vinyl single 50 cents; audio cassette 25 cents; video games as priced; miscellaneous items as priced. Thank you for your question and we hope to see you at the Sale!
Will you accept video tapes of movies that we ourselves recorded off TV ?
Unfortunately we won’t be able to accept home recorded movies. We do encourage your other donation, though, and we hope to see you at the Book and Media Sale! Thank you for you question!
