Welcome to the Honors Student Council Book and Media Sale Information Headquarters! If you’re here, you probably have a question about the upcoming Book and Media Sale (unofficially the largest in all of Louisville!). Below are links to the answers of several popular questions:

Thanks to all of our wonderful donors, we’ve reached 30,000 items! With the Book and Media Sale rapidly approaching, we have become overwhelmed with donations and are unable to coordinate any new pick-ups. If you would still like to drop off donations, we will be accepting them during the regularly scheduled Book and Media Sale hours.

Book and Media Sale Parking

It’s great that you’re interested in coming to the Book and Media Sale (unofficially the biggest in all of Louisville!), but now it’s time to figure out parking. First, make sure you know how to get to the Red Barn on the University of Louisville’s Belknap Campus (or click here if you don’t!). We’ll have signs up around the University of Louisville directing you to the right parking lot, but here’s a run-down of the details just in case:

PREVIEW NIGHT! Tuesday, April 3: 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.($10 entry fee)

Wednesday, April 4 thru Friday, April 6: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 7:9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This might seem like a lot of information, but don’t worry, there will be signs directing you to the right parking lot! Just make sure to park in an approved parking lot because Honors Student Council doesn’t want you to get a ticket and we can’t be held liable for any ticket you might get. But just follow these directions and you won’t have to worry about a ticket! A full map of the University of Louisville parking lots and their restrictions is available here.

WOW! The Book and Media Collection drive has hit a whopping 25,000 items! With only a couple weeks until the Book and Media Sale, we’re trying to collect as many items as possible! Click here to check out where you can drop off you items on the University of Louisville campus or at our several greater Louisville areas.

In the meantime, the Honors Student Council is busy getting ready for the Book and Media Sale. Come out to the Red Barn on the University of Louisville’s Belknap Campus and browse the thousands upon thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, video games, and records we have collected over the last year. Book and Media DROP-OFF LOCATIONS!

The following are places where you can drop off your gently used books and media. At each location, there will be a brown box with the BAMS (Book and Media Sale) logo and a sign that says “Collection Site.” Just leave you books and media there, and someone from Honors Student Council will collect them! It’s just that easy!

DONATE BOOKS & MEDIA!

As you come back to the University of Louisville to start the spring semester, you are invited to donate to the BOOK AND MEDIA COLLECTION DRIVE! Please bring ANY gently used books (not just children’s books!), DVDs, CDs, records, cassettes, etc. to campus collection sites (such as Etscorn Honors Center) to benefit KOSAIR CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL. We need YOUR HELP collecting another 30,000 items to meet our goal and donate a whopping $10,000 to the “Just for Kids” Critical Care Unit. HELP US HELP SICK KIDS! Click HERE for more information!
