Honors Volunteer Program

Honors Volunteer Program is a branch of Honors Student Council which provides opportunties for honors students to build relationships with philanthropies both on campus and in the community. HVP hosts bi-monthly meetings in Etscorn Honors Center to inform students of upcoming philanthropic opportunities/events and discuss civic issues within Louisville. Through monthly service opportunities including partnerships with Down Syndrome of Louisville, Salvation Army, and Kosairs Children’s Hospital, Honors Volunteers develop servant leadership skills which enhance the Honors experience here at the University of Louisville. HVP Chairs for the 2011 school year are Corey Long, Haylee Beggs, and Morgan Blair. Attend the meetings, sign up for events and get on the mailing list for their new monthly newsletter!
